The last of the Girls category is the next under our X Factor 2014 finalists spotlight.
20-year-old Stephanie Nala has been on the TV talent show circuit before when her group The Luminites landed a contract after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent. Sadly it wasn’t meant to be and the band went their separate ways.
Stephanie decided to try her luck on The X Factor and we’re betting she’s glad she did now she’s going to be performing in the live shows with Cheryl as her mentor.
Talking about making it through to the live shows Stephanie says, āAmazing. It’s so surreal, I can hardly believe it. Having to go last, I whipped myself into a total state. I was in floods of tears even before I got to see Cheryl. All the other girls had been through and I was just sitting on my own, getting more and more worked up. I was convinced it was a ‘no’.ā
Looking forward to her X Factor makeover Stephanie says, “Iām really looking forward to them. I reckon my hair could do with a bit of new colour and a bit of styling. I’m always going to be the girl in trainers and comfy clothes rather than dresses, but it’ll be good to see what we can do there.ā
Has she told her former bandmates about her X Factor success yet? āI will tell them. I hope they are proud of me and pleased for me.”
The X Factor 2014 live shows kick off Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV. Watch Stephanie’s judges’ houses performance below:
