New CBS drama Under The Dome was a hit when it aired in the US last night attracting 13.5 million viewers.
It makes the show the most-watched summer premiere on any US network since 1992. Under The Dome stars Mike Vogel, Britt Robertson, Rachelle Lefevre, Colin Ford, Nicholas Strong and Alexander Koch. It’s based on the novel by acclaimed writer Stephen King.
The series focuses on a small town that discovers they have been covered by an invisible forcefield meaning they can’t get out and no one can get in. The series is produced by Stephen Spielberg’s Amblin Television.
The show is due to air on Channel 5 in the UK this autumn.
