Twin Peaks Festival returns for 9th year this September

The 9th official Twin Peaks Festival is returning to London in September.

Taking place over weekend of 29th and 30th September at the London Irish Centre in Camden, the festival is a chance for fans to rub shoulders with stars of the show, eat cherry pie and drink coffee. The festival was founded by British writer and producer Lindsey Bowden in 2010.

This year’s festival will feature guests Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Brennan nĆ©e Moran) and John Pirruccello (Deputy Chad Broxford) and Rebekah Del Rio will be singing live. More names will be announced along with Q&As, signings, events and more.

Festival goers will have have access to screenings (including Lynch inspired fan made short films), and live performances from Lynchian burlesque and cabaret troupe The Double R Club.

The London Irish Centre will be transformed into the legendary town of Twin Peaks so guests can visit The Great Northern Hotel, take part in the Mulholland Drive Jitterbug Class, and visit the mysterious, seductive Black Lodge.

The festival Art Gallery will including the popular ā€˜Return To Twin Peaksā€™ photographic exhibition by Canadian photographer Blake Morrow. In the Roadhouse/Bang Bang Bar, situated downstairs in the venue, there will be live music on both days.

There will even be live owls on show in the section named The Call of the Owl. In Camden Square Gardens a train carriage will be parked offering a VR experience with actual locations shot in Washington State.

Lindsey Bowden says, ā€œTwin Peaks is as legendary for its style as its eccentricity, its murders and its offbeat humour. I love the unique mix of eccentric characters, eerie small town atmosphere and surreal storytelling. I created the festival in 2010 and through the last eight years it has grown and developed into something very special with a lot of the fans returning year after year. We look forward to welcoming long-time Twin Peaks fans and the new generation of fans who discovered Twin Peaks in 2017 with the third TV series. This yearā€™s festival promises to engulf them in the world of Twin Peaks within the context of David Lynchā€™s wider body of work.ā€

Tickets start from Ā£85 and can be purchased at www.twinpeaksukfest.com.
