Former X Factor judge and singer Tulisa appears on The Jonathan Ross Show tonight to talk about her difficult year.
Talking about the past 12 months Tulisa says, āWhere Iām at now, I would describe it as the kind of life experience that you canāt buy. It felt like I fit 10 years into oneā¦ I feel like Iāve taken a lot of positives from it and Iāve had a real journey, learnt a lot of life lessons in the year that Iāve had and I feel like Iāve grown and changed in ways that I wouldnāt have if it hadnāt have happened.ā
Whilst speaking to Jonathan, Tulisa opens up about being arrested and her drugs trial; āItās hard because I donāt want to sit here and dwell on thingsā¦ I genuinely had my ups and downs throughout the year, I had moments when I woke up in the morning and I was like āI can do this, Iām gonna get through this. Iām gonna come back bigger and better than everā and then there were days when I was literally crying my eyes out on the bathroom floor with a bottle of vodka. It really did vary on the day and the moment but I would say my overall approach to the situation was to stay strong and I knew in my mind I had to stay strong, I didnāt really have a choice.ā
As well as talking about her legal and personal issues, Tulisa also opens up about the surgery rumours that surround her; āTo clarify, I havenāt had surgery. Surgery is āgoing under the knife,ā breaking bones, adding stuff in. I simply just had cosmetic enhancement, itās just a little bit of filler which I put a little bit in my cheeks and in my lips. Unfortunately I had water retention so my face reacted so I had to try and get rid of the filler I had in my cheeks and now I just have it in my lips. I like having my lips done, itās my personal thing, it makes me happy. Iām honest about it, I could lie, at least Iām telling the truth!ā
Tonight’s show also features Boris Johnson, James Corden, Jon Hamm, Keith Lemon and music from Paloma Faith.
The Jonathan Ross Show airs at 10.35pm tonight on ITV.
