True Detective premiered in the US last night and will be coming to the UK on Sky Atlantic in February.
The show stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as Criminal Investigations Division homicide detectives hunting for a serial killer in Louisiana across 17 years. The first season of the show will run for 8 episodes and feature multiple time-frames to tell it’s story.
True Detective also stars Michelle Monaghan, Kevin Dunn, Tory Kittles, Michael Potts, Alexandra Daddario and Elizabeth Reaser. The first season is directed by Cary Fukunaga and was written and created by Nic Pizzolatto. In the US the show airs on HBO which is always the mark of quality drama.
We can’t wait for the show to begin in the UK and we’re hoping it’s the first part of February rather than near the end of the month.
