Top 5 Strictly Come Dancing 2015 week 3 performances

Strictly Come Dancing 2015 delivered a spectacular and show-stopping Movie Week last night.

The remaining 14 couples danced their socks off in their bid to impress the judges and the viewers at home. The standard in the competition this year varies wildly but there are some terrific dancers amongst the celebs.

We’ve reviewed all of the performances from last night and put together our list of the Top 5 dances of the evening. Keep reading to find out who made the cut…

5. Helen George and Aljaz Skorjanec – Foxtrot

Helen is so effortless on the dancefloor but at the moment she’s not the most memorable of the celebs. She was every inch the glamorous star last night dancing an elegant Foxtrot with Aljaz. We can’t wait to see her let lose in the Latin styles later in the series.

4. Georgia May Foote and Giovanni Pernice – Rumba

We’ve no idea what the judges were watching but for us Georgia’s Rumba was full of passion, sex and sizzle. She’s the perfect match for the equally sexy Giovanni and the Bond theme was a winner. This is the dance we felt was undermarked.

3. Anita Rani and Gleb Savchenko – American Smooth

The judges kept moaning on about Anita’s arm flow (or some such nonsense) but we were captivated by her American Smooth. She has one of the strongest partnerships in the show and with someone as hot as Gleb on her arm, who can blame her for putting in a lot of hard work?

2. Kellie Bright and Kevin Clifton – Charleston

This was one of the most fun dances of the evening. Kellie loved every moment of it and you could see it from her beaming smile. This is a tough dance to get right but in Kevin’s hands Kellie did a fantastic job.

1. Jay McGuinness and Aliona Vilani – Jive

The standard that Jay has reached in only 3 weeks is pretty remarkable. His Jive was near flawless last night and he clearly works well with his partner Aliona Vilani. If he keeps this up he could win the whole competition.

Tune in to BBC One tonight at 7.15pm to see which couple leaves the competition.
