Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will launch on Amazon Prime Video on 31st August 2018.
The series will mark the first time that the best-selling author’s popular character has been brought to the small screen. The trailer for the series, which you can see in this article, will be aired at the Super Bowl marking the first time that Prime Video has had an event at the major sporting event.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan features an original storyline and is an action-packed CIA thriller.
The series centres on Jack Ryan (John Krasinski – 13 Hours, The Office), an up-and-coming CIA analyst thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. The series follows the titular character as he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the centre of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.
Featuring 8 episodes, the series also stars Wendell Pierce (The Wire) as James Greer and Abbie Cornish (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) as Cathy Mueller.
Tom Clancy’s John Ryan is executive produced by Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) who also serves as the showrunner.
