At Hilltop, Eugene (Josh McDermitt) told Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) to stick with Rosita (Christian Serratos) despite her being pregnant by Siddiq (Avi Nash).
Meanwhile at Alexandria, Michonne (Danai Gurira) and the council discussed their situation and Gabriel grew increasingly frustrated by her vetoing everything that she disagreed with. Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) offered his help to Michonne and said he’d changed. She wouldn’t believe him but a conversation with Judith (Cailey Fleming) seemed to make her think.
At the end of the episode, Alpha and Beta tried to test Lydia’s loyalty and asked her to kill Henry. A herd of walkers turned up led by Daryl and Connie sporting their own walker masks. They escaped with Henry and Lydia.
