The Tunnel season 3 coming to US viewers via PBS on July 1st

PBS has announced that US viewers will finally be able to watch the third and final season of British crime drama The Tunnel from July 1st, 2018 at 10:30pm ET. The third season is titled The Tunnel: Vengeance and has already aired in the UK.

The Tunnel: Vengeance is penned by lead writer Emilia Di Girolamo (Law & Order: UK). The final season features another new and original story set over six parts. It again brings together the adored and unlikely Anglo-French duo Karl Roebuck (Stephen Dillane) and Elise Wassermann (Clémence Poésy).

The synopsis for the The Tunnel: Vengeance 3×01 reads:

A burning fishing boat found on the Channel turns into a new case for Karl and Elise.

The Tunnel: Vengeance will stream for free simultaneously with each broadcast and be available for two weeks on all station-branded PBS platforms, including PBS.org and PBS apps for iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Chromecast. PBS station members can binge all episodes via Passport on July 1st.

The Tunnel: Vengeance will be available on DVD from PBS Distribution and will also be available for digital download.
