The Rookie begins tonight (21st March) on Sky Witness at 9pm. The ABC show is a crime comedy drama created for ABC by Alexi Hawley and stars Nathan Fillion (Castle, Firefly) in the titular role.
The Rookie follows 40-year old John Nolan (Nathan Fillion), who after a life-changing incident decides to pursue his dream of becoming a LAPD officer.

In the first episode of the new series, Nolan reports in for duty on his first day in the LAPD and is partnered up with his training officer Talia Bishop. What follows is a baptism of fire, as Nolan faces a domestic violence case, a deadly street shoot-out and a frantic search for a unicorn!
