The Greatest Dancer: Matthew Morrison picks his top three acts for the live shows

The Greatest Dancer was tense last night as the Dance Captains – Matthew Morrison, Cheryl and Oti Mabuse – deliberated over who they wanted on their teams for the live shows.

Matthew selected Contemporary duo James & Oliver, Commercial/contemporary group Company Jinks and Street crew Prospects Fraternity.

What did Matthew see in his final three acts? “I feel Iā€™ve got a diverse final 3 to take through to the lives and hopefully win The Greatest Dancer. Company Jinks are such a powerful and skilled group of dancers, I know we can do incredible things together moving forward. James and Oliver gave me one of the most emotionally satisfying performances of the whole audition process and I know they have far more to give. Prospects Fraternity are young and full of energy, their tricks are second to none, they are so talented.”

Talking about what they bring to his squad Matthew revealed, “Thereā€™s going to be surprise, raw emotion and talent in abundance. I believe in all of my dancers and I know Iā€™ve got The Greatest Dancer winner in my squad.”

Can they compete with Oti Mabuse’sĀ final three and Cheryl’s final three?

We hope that every performance is better than the last; and if this dedication to perfection, along with our unconditional passion for dance is what makes us the greatest, then we can definitely agree with that.”
