The third season of The Grand Tour will be hitting TV screens on January 18th 2019. It will be available exclusively to Amazon Prime members. There will also be avideo game of the The Grand Tour released a few days before the TV series which will have episodic releases as each TV episode airs.
So what can we expect from season 3? Locations look like they will include Mongolia, Columbia and Hong Kong and I’m sure there will be plenty more places on the list. On the subject of locations Clarkson had this to say in an interview with Digital Spy:
“We didn’t used to be able to go, when we were at the BBC, to Iran or Zimbabwe, because the Beeb is banned. Iran didn’t even allow Ski Sunday in – that wildly political programme! So we weren’t allowed in either. But we are now. So Iran is somewhere I’d really like to go.”

The Grand Tour has also made a few changes to its format. Most notably for season 3 will be the absence of celebrity guests. The boys have decided to spend as much as possible on the films rather than on paying for guests.
Other than that details are being kept tightly under wraps but given the antics of the boys in the previous seasons I think we can expect to see them fulfilling every petrol heads dreams as they get behind the wheel of some of the finest cars in the world, get into trouble in foreign countries and it’s also quite likely we’ll see Richard Hammond in at least one crash!
