The Good Doctor continued its second season in the UK last week and the resolution to the quarantine situation unfolded.
Morgan (Fiona Gubelmann) had to talk Shaun (Freddie Highmore) round after he collapsed due to the pressure of the situation. She was successful and Shaun helped her complete the surgery on her patient.
Dr Lim (Christina Chang) meanwhile fought for her life after catching the virus. Morgan came up with a solution and after administering treatment to Lim, she saved her life.
Meanwhile Park (Will Yun Lee) broke quarantine to help his son Kellan (Ricky He) who was having an asthma attack. Kellan then assisted Shaun in helping to save a mother and her child.
Elsewhere Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) and Claire (Antonia Thomas) performed a bone marrow transplant but their patient died, and Glassman (Richard Schiff) discovered that his cancer hadn’t returned and he was suffering from meningitis while arguing with Lea (Paige Spara) about her role in Shaun’s life.
The next episode of the season is Aftermath. With the quarantine over, the hospital staff attempts to return to their normal routines as the Department of Public Health orders a review.
