One of Iris’ (Candice Patton) former colleagues Spencer Young (Kiana Madeira) caught the attention of Team Flash by publishing articles about XS (Jessica Parker Kennedy) just before the events took place.
Iris asked Spencer to stop publishing articles about XS in a bid to protect Nora but her plea fell on deaf ears. It was revealed that Spencer was using a phone that enabled her to control people’s minds so she could write stories about them.
Spencer used the device on Nora and tried to get her to kill The Flash (Grant Gustin) but Iris stepped in. The team found out that Spencer’s phone and Cicada’s (Chris Klein) had meta abilities.
Meanwhile Iris struggled to bond with Nora and the extent of their tense relationship was revealed. Nora admitted that she held a grudge against Iris because in the future she chipped her to prevent her speed abilities.
The next episode of the season is All Doll’d Up. Nora lets something slip about the future that devastates Iris; in an attempt to distract his wife, Barry asks Iris to team up to stop a new meta, Rag Doll; Caitlin learns something about her father.
