Kara (Melissa Benoist) was held at the DEO as the atmosphere was still filled with Kryptonite on the latest episode of Supergirl.
Trapped in Lena’s (Katie McGrath) suit, Kara became frustrated and clashed with Alex (Chyler Leigh) who ordered her to stay put. Eventually Alex changed her mind and Supergirl joined the fight in the middle of a carnival after Ben (Sam Witwer) hypnotised aliens to cause chaos.
Mercy (Rhona Mitra) and Otis (Robert Baker) were killed in the battle before they could expose Supergirl to Kryptonite again.
Meanwhile J’onn (David Harewood) met Manchester Black (David Ajala), the fiancé of his missing friend Fiona (Tiya Sircar). They managed to find her but it was too late to save her so all J’onn could do was ease her pain.
The next episode of the season is Parasite Lost. Colonel Haley makes a surprising decision regarding Supergirl; Kara writes a series of articles highlighting aliens in National City in the hope of making humans less fearful of them; unfortunately, the article puts some of the aliens in harm’s way.
