I’ve been eagerly awaiting the return of Strike Back since season 6 (Retribution) ended in March 2018. It was renewed for season 7 in April 2018 but there has been very little information since.
Last month Cinemax started showing the new season in the US, known over there as Strike Back: Revolution or season 6 (they seem to ignore the first season with Richard Armitage and Andrew Lincoln). I’ve been super jealous ever since because it was rumoured that we weren’t getting the new season until April 2019.
Well, I have some good news, Strike Back season 7 is set to begin here in the UK next week! For some reason the name seems to have changed from Strike Back: Revolution and is now known over here as Strike Back: Silent War. It will air on Sky One at 9pm.

New cast members for the season 7 include Jamie Bamber as Colonel Alexander Coltrane, Yasemin Allen as Katrina Zarkova and Varada Sethu as Lance corporal Manisha Chetri.
