Star Trek fans rejoice, the first-look at Star Trek: Picard is here!
Sir Patrick Stewart is reprising his role as Jean-Luc Picard, a role he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Take a look at the teaser trailer below:
The new series will follow this iconic character into the next chapter of his life. The teaser trailer doesn’t give much away but it does give you the first shot of Stewart back as Picard.
Alongside Stewart, Star Trek: Picard will also star Alison Pill (The Newsroom), Michelle Hurd (Blindspot), Evan Evagora (Secret City), Isa Briones (Takers), Santiago Cabrera (Salvation), and Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful).
The series will stream on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. In the United States, the series will be available exclusively on CBS All Access, and in Canada on Bell Media’s cable networks, Space and Z, and OTT service Crave.
Star Trek: Picard is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman (Sleepy Hollow, Michael Chabon (John Carter), Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind), James Duff (The Closer), Stewart, Heather Kadin (Salvation), Rod Roddenberry (Earth: Final Conflict) and Trevor Roth (Star Trek: Discover) serve as executive producers and and Aaron Baiers (Secret Hideout) will serve as co-executive producer and Kirsten Beyer (Star Trek: Discovery) as supervising producer.
Hanelle Culpepper ( A Single Rose) will direct the first two episodes of the series.
