Jack (Dylan McDermott) and Beth (Maggie Q) investigated a college sophomore who was believed to be stalking his ex-girlfriend.
As they investigated further, they discovered that the house the girl lived in was supposedly haunted following the suicides of the couple that lived there before them. Jack discovered that one of the former tenants wasn’t actually dead and he’d been living in a secret compartment in the basement of the house.
Elsewhere in the episode Perry (Erik Stocklin) discovered that Beth’s real name is Michelle Webber and found out more about the deaths of her family in a house fire. Janice (Mariana Klaveno) overheard a heted exchange between Jack and Amanda (Elisabeth Rohm).
The next episode of the season is Love is a Battlefield. The team investigate a series of alarming attacks on a wealthy philanthropist. Elsewhere, Jack faces an ultimatum from Amanda (Elisabeth Rohm).
