Sony Crime Channel launches in the UK this February

Sony Pictures Television Networks will launch Sony Crime Channel on Tuesday 6th February 2018.

The second Sony-branded free-to-air channel will feature a mixture of scripted and non-scripted entertainment from the crime genre. Sony Crime Channel will feature seasons 1 to 4 of Orange is the New Black, which will be the show’s free-to-air premiere, as well as the UK premiere of Real Detective: North of the Border.

Favourites lined up to air on the channel include Person of Interest, CSI, Deadly Women, Hustle and Law & Order.

The channel’s launch night will be broadcast simultaneously across sister channels True Entertainment and truTV from 9pm. The line-up will kick off with the very first episode of Person of Interest followed by the season 11 premiere of CSI at 10pm and the series premiere of Orange is the New Black at 11pm.

Sony Crime Channel is aimed predominantly at a female audience and will be a one-stop destination for crime fans.

The channel will launch on Freeview 60, YouView 60 and Sky 157 and will launch on Freesat 143 from 13th February.
