Mellie (Bellamy Young) and Olivia (Kerry Washington) started working together in the latest episode of Scandal.
The frenemies bonded over a fair amount of alcohol as they discussed and wrote Mellie’s book about running for President. The two women were surprisingly honest with one another when it came to their respective relationships with Fitz (Tony Goldwyn).
Elsewhere in the episode Liz (Portia de Rossi) tried to convince Susan Ross (Artemis Pebdani) to run for President, and Abby (Darby Stanchfield) and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) clashed over a journalist wanting to write a profile piece on Fitz.
The next episode of the season is Wild Card. While Fitz is preoccupied with his own interests, Cyrus begins to orchestrate his next master plan, and Elizabeth North uses David to mastermind a plan of her own. Meanwhile, Olivia continues to question what exactly Jake is planning in his new role as head of the NSA.
