Revolution to premiere on Sky 1 HD

J.J. Abrams’ hit drama Revolution will be coming to Sky 1 HD this month.

Revolution has been a hit with US viewers, and is broadcaster NBC’s most successful scripted launch in three years.

An epic adventure thriller, Revolution centres round a family struggling to reunite in a post-apocalyptic landscape devoid of electricity and where all technology blacked out fifteen years earlier.

The action-packed adventure is seen through the eyes of one strong-willed young woman, Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos, Being Human), and her brother, Danny (Graham Rogers, Struck by Lighting). The teenagers become separated in the first episode when Danny is kidnapped by militia leader, Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito, Breaking Bad).  Charlie is forced to reconnect with their estranged Uncle Miles (Billy Burke, Twilight), a former Marine, now living a reclusive life. Together, with a rogue band of survivors, Charlie and Miles set out to rescue Danny and overthrow the militia, while exploring the mystery of why the power failed and if (or how) it will ever return.

Revolution will premiere on the 29th of March at 9pm on Sky 1 HD.
