Hostages was pretty tense tonight wasn’t it as Ellen (Toni Collette) realised that killing Duncan (Dylan McDermott) just wasn’t an option.
After racing home she discovered that Brian (Tate Donovan) had injected Duncan with the poison she was given to kill the President with. Thankfully Ellen managed to save the day and found out a little more about Duncan’t motives for wanting to kill the President.
The next episode, Loose Ends, sees things crank up a notch. When investigators get nearer to uncovering the conspiracy to kill the President, Duncan is ordered to get rid of an insider by someone closely connected to the plot.
The series is over the halfway point now and trust us when we say the pace really picks up from here.
