There’s only two episodes of Penny Dreadful left and then we’ll have to wait until 2015 for the second season.
Last week’s episode saw Van Helsing (David Warner) murdered by Frankenstein’s (Harry Treadaway) creation Caliban (Rory Kinnear). Vanessa (Eva Green) got closer to Dorian (Reeve Carney) but their sexploits awakened something inside her that sets thing up nicely for the penultimate episode of the season.
Elsewhere Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton) realised he was closer to finding Mina (Olivia Llewellyn) than he thought and Ethan (Josh Hartnett) reconciled with Brona (Billie Piper) following his night of passion with Dorian.
The next episode of the show is titled Possession. Sir Malcolm, Ethan, Frankenstein and Sembene try to free Vanessa from the evil inside of her.
