Nurse Jackie will be back for a sixth season it has been confirmed.
The hit Showtime series is just finishing its fifth season in the US (no UK date has been set yet for the season). This season Jackie (Edie Falco) has been trying to get her life back together following her divorce and her continuing attempts to stay clean.
Eve Best, who plays Dr O’Hara in the show, will not return for the sixth season. Best appeared only in one episode of the fifth season and some filmed video inserts were used throughout the season.
We’re glad to hear that Nurse Jackie will be back in 2014 but we’re sure going to miss Dr O’Hara.
