The Blacklist will be returning for a third season in the 2015-16 season it has been announced.

NBC has renewed the hit crime drama starring James Spader and Megan Boone. The Blacklist returned this week in the US after its mid-season hiatus and will return to UK screens on Sky Living HD on 27th February 2015.

The show has continued to attract a large audience and garner critical acclaim, in particular for James Spader’s magnificent performance as central character Red.

NBC has also announced new season pick-ups for Grimm (season 5), Chicago Fire (season 3), Chicago P.D. (season 2) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (season 17).

Katherine Heigl’s TV comeback State of Affairs’ fate hangs in the balance as do the fates of Debra Messing’s The Mysteries of Laura, Constantine and comedies Marry Me and About A Boy.
