Mr. T, the iconic 80s star of The A-Team and Rocky 3 has been announced as the latest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame 2014.
Mr. T was instrumental in the early success of WWF’s ambitious telecast Wrestlemania. Having featured in numerous matches alongside Hulk Hogan, he would go on to make history during his infamous ‘boxing match’ with Rowdy Roddy Piper at Wrestlemania 2.
Mr. T had worked with Hulk Hogan on Rocky 3 and was a huge star attraction in the 80s. His induction to the celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame is both justified and glorious, with wrestling fans the world over delighted at the news.
Mr. T joins the likes of The Ultimate Warrior, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, Lita and Paul Bearer in the Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Wrestlemania 30 hits New Orleans on April 6th with the HOF ceremony taking place the evening before on April 5th.
