Sky 1 HD is really spoiling us UK fans of Modern Family by giving us a double dose again this week.
The hit US comedy really is the funniest show on TV and it features one of the best ensembles we’ve ever seen in a comedy. This week sees us reach and pass the half way point of the fifth season so savour the Dunphys and Pritchetts whilst you can.
This week’s double bill features new episodes Under Pressure and Three Dinners. In Under Pressure, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) settles a score with a ‘mean girl’ mum, and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) tries to out-green his neighbour. Look out for guest appearances by 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski and The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg.
In Three Dinners, Jay (Ed O’Neill) struggles to digest some news from best pal Shorty whilst Cam and Mitch (Eric Stonestreet) take a break from the wedding planning to enjoy a romantic dinner.
