Poor Alex (Ariel Winter) really doesn’t have her parents on her side does she?
In the latest episode of Modern Family Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) didn’t believe their youngest daughter when he told then she had a boyfriend. Instead of supporting her, they both thought she was making him up because she was lonely.
Elsewhere in the episode Jay (Ed O’Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) tried to get out of going to each other’s parties and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) feared for their new white couch when one of Mitch’s unstable colleagues stayed over at their house.
The next episode of the season is Haley’s 21st Birthday. Celebrations are in order as Haley turns 21 and, while the grown-ups hit a bar, Alex, Manny (Rico Rodriguez) and Luke (Nolan Gould) are left to babysit Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons).
