Louisa Johnson wins The X Factor 2015

Following last nights sing off, Louisa Johnson and Reggie N Bollie waited impatiently to find out who had won this year’s X Factor competition. The judges, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw and Simon Cowell joined the contestants at Wembley were the final show down took place.

The results night was packed with great entertainment from artists such as Coldplay, Adele, One Direction and of course The X Factor 2015 finalists. Coldplay’s performance came complete with gorilla dancers, which was a bit strange. One Direction delighted fans with their performance of their latest single, Infinity. A fair few stars decided to pay their respects to the band, who is taking a break including Simon Cowell, David Beckham and Little Mix just to name a few.

For their final performances the finalists had to sing the song that best represented them throughout the series, Reggie N Bollie were up first and sang What Makes You Beautiful / I Like To Move It, which was brilliant. Simon said the boys had stepped it up tonight and Nick said that he was gutted he couldn’t see them perform next week. The boys also performed what would be their winning single, which was full of positive vibes but lacked the energy we’ve seen the boys bring to the stage throughout the competition.

Louisa Johnson’s song of the series was It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World, which the young singer belted out. Her final performance was so confident and vocally the singer really showed what she was made off and just how amazing she is. Cheryl said that the performance was fantastic and Simon said that he had never seen anyone sing this good on the show, whilst her mentor Rita said that she was looking at the winner of the show. Louisa’s take on the single was incredible and suited her vocals much better than it did the boys.

It was an incredible journey for Louisa, who was amazing every single week. The seventeen year old blew me away week on week and really deserved to win the competition.

The X Factor will be back in 2016.
