The Leftovers continued in the UK last night and two episodes in the show has us hooked with its weirdness.
The episode picked up a few weeks after the Heroes Day run in with the Guilty Remnant and Saw Kevin (Justin Theroux) seeking help for his odd behaviour after he shot lots of dogs with the mystery man that has been appearing everywhere. Tommy (Chris Zylka) rescued Christine (Annie Q) when the ATFEC team descended on Wayne’s (Paterson Joseph) hideout. Unfortunately Tommy had to kill someone to rescue Christine and was left as her guardian when Wayne went to a new hideout.
Elsewhere in the episode Meg (Liv Tyler) grew frustrated at her lack of progress since joining the Guilty Remnant and Jill (Margaret Qualley) spent the day with Aimee (Emily Meade) following Nora (Carrie Coon) around after noticing a gun in her purse.
The next episode of the season is Two Boats and a Helicopter. Reverend Matt Jamison (Christopher Eccleston) battles to keep his church from the Guilty Remnant cult.
