Chandler (Eric Dane) and Tex (John Pyper Ferguson) were rescued from the Russians in the latest episode of The Last Ship thanks to the very crafty Dr. Scott (Rhona Mitra).
The Russians promised to hand them over if Scott gave them the vaccine, her research and herself! She went through with it of course but she managed to slip a note to Chandler during a passionate kiss that told him how to get off the ship when he got the chance. Suffice to say they all escaped with Quincy’s (Sam Spruell) wife and daughter in tow.
As they headed back to their own ship the crew watched as the Russians’ ship was destroyed but they lost one of their own men in the process too.
The next episode of the season is Trials. Rachel asks for six volunteers to take part in her human vaccine trials. Back in the states, Chandler’s family are put in a perilous situation.
