Katie Price was crowned the winner of the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother during last night’s live final.
The former glamour model beat controversial housemate Katie Hopkins to win the show. Upon finding out she had won Katie told presenter Emma Willis, “I don’t understand…I went in with a medical problem…I think I’ve been boring, so don’t know why I’m here!”
During her winners interview Katie was told by Emma that some viewers were unhappy that she entered the house part way through the run. Katie responded saying, “It was a crazy House and I can’t believe I’ve been in there three weeks…it’s not my fault I went in late…I’m still me, but if there’s arguments and stuff…normally I’d be ‘don’t take the piss out of fat kids’…i just didn’t have the energy to argue with it.”
This year’s Celebrity Big Brother has been plagued by controversy after Baywatch actor Jeremy Jackson and former Coronation Street star Ken Morley were removed from the house. Singer Alexander O’Neal walked and Perez Hilton spent his entire time winding up all of the housemates.
Big Brother will be back in the summer for a new series.
