Jonathan Ross signs new deal with ITV

Jonathan Ross has signed a new deal with ITV that will keep him on the channel until at least the end of 2015 it has been announced.

Under the new deal Jonathan will record two new series and a Christmas special of his eponymous show during 2015.

Talking about the news Jonathan said, “I’ve been lucky enough to interview some of the biggest stars around on The Jonathan Ross Show and I’m delighted that I’ll continue to do so for ITV until at least the end of 2015 with two series booked for the channel for next year. This Saturday I have Russell Brand, Lindsay Lohan, Daniel Radcliffe and Rio Ferdinand on the couch and there’s plenty more to come.”

ITVā€™s Director of Entertainment and Comedy Elaine Bedell said, ā€œJonathan is the king of talk shows and a valued member of the ITV family. He continues to attract the biggest names in showbiz onto his sofa and I am delighted that he will remain on the channel until at least the end of 2015.ā€

The latest series of The Jonathan Ross Show kicked off at the weekend with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B, Steve Carell, Sir David Attenborough and Paolo Nutini appearing on the show.

Since joining ITV in 2011 Jonathan has interviewed a host of stars including David Beckham, Richard Branson, Oprah Winfrey, Andy Murray, Tom Hanks, Keifer Sutherland, Kylie Minogue, Will Ferrell, Bradley Cooper, Sandra Bullock, Liam Neeson and Damien Lewis.
