Jeremy Jackson addresses CBB removal on This Morning

Former Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson appeared on ITV’s This Morning earlier today to speak to hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley about being removed from the Celebrity Big Brother House.

At the weekend Jeremy was removed from the CBB house after fellow housemate Chloe Goodman complained that he had been inappropriate with her. Talking about the incident Jeremy said, ā€œItā€™s unfortunate, sombering, humbling… and hopefully a great example for myself and the future and possibly others.ā€

During the interview he admitted that he initially didn’t think there was anything wrong with his actions. He said, ā€œItā€™s hard, because you have to walk a mile in your shoes right? And my intentions were based on a relationship that Chloe and I had built regarding her swimming suits and how many of them she had and how many times she had changed them on the show. I toured the world producing fashion shows, that included bikini lines for five years. That included working with models and talking about fashion is something I do on a regular basis…ā€

Asked by Phillip is alcohol was to blame for the incident, Jeremy admitted, ā€œI canā€™t blame it on alcohol. I made the decision, I made the action, and the reaction was a bad one. I wasnā€™t expecting it [the reaction], and I donā€™t think Chloe was expecting it. Yes, itā€™s in the public eye and yes, itā€™s terrible now – some people are on my side, some people are on her side – and it becomes a situation. But Chloeā€™s feelings were hurt and I possibly touched a cord, that triggered a response and she felt bad and I potentially was the one that made her feel bad. And I feel terrible for that.ā€

Jeremy also aired his feelings on housemate Ken Morley who was also removed from the CBB house this week. ā€œHe was warned many, many times. The Ken that I know – I had just four or five conversations with just us – and he is a very smart and very hilarious man, but I wasnā€™t actually in the room when he was saying some of those things – I just canā€™t imagine he wasnā€™t doing that on purpose. I was hoping that the general public would see through it and keep him there to make him pay for it, because he wanted out of there quick!ā€
