Jay James is the latest act to leave The X Factor 2014.
The singer found himself in the bottom two with Stevi Ritchie. For his Save Me song Jay performed Keane’s Somewhere Only We Know. He was followed by Stevi who performed Queen’s Somebody To Love. Once both acts had performed it was over to the judges to make a decision.
Simon chose to send home Stevi. Louis chose to send home Stevi. Mel B chose to send home Jay. Cheryl chose to send home Jay. The vote went to deadlock and it was revealed that Jay would be going home.
On tonight’s show former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger performed her new single Run, Olly Murs sang his new single Wrapped Up, and Bob Geldof stopped by to introduced the music video for Band Aid 30.
The X Factor 2014 continues at 8pm on ITV next Saturday.
