ITV‘s smash-hit crime drama The Bay will be released on DVD on 6th May 2019.
The 6-part series stars Morven Christie (The A Word) as Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong. The cast also includes Jonas Armstrong (Troy), Tracie Bennett (Scott & Bailey), Lindsey Coulson (Funny Cow), Chanel Cresswell (This is England ā90), Louis Greatorex (Last Tango in Halifax), Adam Long (Happy Valley), and Daniel Ryan (Mount Pleasant).
The series follows Lisa as she’s assigned to a missing persons investigation concerning the disappearance of twins. Working as a Family Liaison Officer, sheās trained never to get emotionally involved but she finds she has a personal connection that could compromise the case.
The Bay, set in Morecambe, is from award-winning writer and playwright Daragh Carville (Being Human). The series is currently airing Wednesdays at 9pm on ITV.
