Happy Valley leads Royal Television Society Awards nominations

The nominations have been revealed for the RTS Programme Awards 2013-2014.

Leading the charge is Happy Valley which picks up 3 nominations including Actor – Female, Drama Series and Writer – Drama. Other nominees included Sheridan Smith for ITV’s Cilla, Tom Hollander for BBC 2’s A Poet in New York and Claudia Winkleman for her work on Strictly Come Dancing.

Harry & Paulā€™s Story of the Twos leads the way in the comedy categories receiving nominations in all three ā€“ Scripted Comedy, Comedy Performance and Writer – Comedy.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday 17 March at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
