Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) discovered that her difficult new mentor Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) was hiding a rather large secret in the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
Struggling with her new mentor’s manner, Arizona was shocked to discover that Dr. Herman has an inoperable brain tumour. Desperate to keep her condition secret, Herman promised to teach Arizona everything she knows in exchange for her silence. Will Arizona be able to keep her end of the deal?
Elsewhere in the episode Jo (Camilla Luddington) became emotionally involved with the case of a homeless veteran, April’s (Sarah Drew) interfering mother arrived to help prepare for the arrival of the baby, and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) tried to orchestrate a family dinner with Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Richard (James Pickens Jr) but lost track of time when they got carried away by lust in the shower.
The next episode of the season is Can We Start Again, Please? Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) faces problems at the hospital when secrets from her past come to light. Jo, meanwhile, embarks on her first solo surgery.
