Great White Serial Killer Shark Week clips

Shark Week continues this week on Discovery Channel and we’ve got two clips from Great White Serial Killer which airs tomorrow.

This October could mark a potentially dangerous occasion for surfers and swimmers at Surf Beach, California, US.

In the last four years there have been two fatal Great White Shark attacks, both two years and a day apart ā€“ 22nd October 2010 and 23rd October 2012. Understandably there will be a sense of concern in the lead up to October two years on, so Californians will be taking careful approach at Surf Beach this October as an experts warns itā€™s entirely possible that sharks do follow intelligent patterns.

Whilst it is unknown if the attacks were made by the same shark, evidence from one of the attacks based on the bites showed that one of the sharks was at least 16ft in length. Although no eyewitnesses of both attacks are able to recall any distinctive features of either shark, many consider that both attacks may have been the same Great White and are fearing its return. This story is further looked into in Great White Serial Killer ā€“ which airs on Discovery channel tomorrow at 8pm.

It is estimated that there are only 220 Great White Sharks in Californian waters, and only a handful of these are 16ft or larger. The bite produced is one of the most powerful in the whole animal kingdom.

Great White Serial Killer airs on Discovery Channel on Thursday 14th August at 8pm as part of Shark Week, August 10th ā€“ August 16th. Watch the clips below:
