The fourth series of Grantchester is well under way on ITV and we’ve got a clip of tonight’s episode to share with you.

Last week’s episode saw Sidney Chambers (James Norton) decide to leave Grantchester with Violet (Simona Brown) meaning that Geordie (Robson Green) is without his partner in crime. Fear not as Will Davenport (Tom Brittney) is heading back to Grantchester as you can see in our preview clip below:
Arriving clad in leather on a motorbike, Will introduces himself to Mrs C (Tessa Peake-Jones) but she’s not too happy about his arrival. After airing her thoughts, Mrs C turns her back on Will leaving him wondering what he’s done to deserve such an unfriendly welcome.
The synopsis for tonight’s episode is:
Geordie is called to investigate an apparent break-in at a computer laboratory. When the head of the lab dies from mercury poisoning, Geordie suspects foul play. Meanwhile, Will returns to Grantchester and Mrs C makes a shocking discovery.
Grantchester airs at 9pm tonight on ITV.
