The fourth season of Gotham will air on E4 in the UK starting in April.
The comic book series previously aired on Channel 5 for its first two seasons with the third season streaming on Netflix. Fans have been wondering if the show would find a new home here in the UK and thankfully it finally has!
Season four of Gotham focuses on the emergence of the criminal landscape for which Gotham City is best known. GCPD detectives Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) continue to battle against the cities villains including Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor); Edward Nygma/The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas), as well as the future Catwoman, Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova).
There’s also Butch Gilzean/Solomon Grundy (Drew Powell), Dr. Lee Thompkins (Morena Baccarin), and Sofia Falcone (Crystal Reed).
The synopsis for this season is:
While Gotham City fights for normalcy, a new hero will rise. After completing his training with Ra’s al Ghul (Alexander Siddig), a young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) begins to assume responsibility for the city’s well-being. With the help of his ever-faithful butler Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) and quiet support of Lucius Fox (Chris Chalk), he will step into this role, all while building up his public persona of carefree socialite to avoid any suspicion among Gotham’s citizens.
