The Night Shift returns in the US next week for a fourth season and the first proper promo has arrived.
In the season 3 finale TC (Eoin Macken) and Syd (Jennifer Beals) were caught up in a missile strike on their camp leaving them both unconscious. Back at San Antonio Memorial, Paul’s (Robert Bailey Jr.) father bought the hospital but decided to let Topher (Ken Leung) go.
In solidarity the night shift team refused to continue working at the hospital unless Topher was reinstated. Also Kenny (JR Lemon) was under pressure from loan sharks and was left in a panic when Paul asked for his loan back after being cut off by his father.
Ken Leung will not be back full-time as Topher but he is expected to appear as a guest star over the course of the season.
Mark Consuelos is joining the show as nurse Cain and he will appear in a recurring capacity throughout the season.
The Night Shift returns at 10/9c on Thursday 22nd June 2017 on NBC in the US. Watch the new promo for season 4 below:
