First The Voice UK series 2 image released

The first shot of The Voice UK judges promoting season two of the show has been released this morning by the BBC.

Jessie J, Danny O’Donoghue, Tom Jones and will.i.am will all return to the judges seats ending speculation that new judges had been brought in to replace them. The transmission date for the new series has yet to be confirmed but it’s expected to start in the coming weeks.

In the new image the four judges pose with a mic stand and they all look like they mean business.

Despite starting off with strong ratings, the first season of the show soon shed most of its audience over its run. Eventual winner Leanne Mitchell has failed to find chart success since winning the show.

For the second season the show has been tweaked and will include a new ‘steal rule’ allowing the judges to pinch contestants from each other. There will also be a ‘Killer Song’ round before the live shows begin.

Are you looking forward to the show returning?
