Arrow fans are going to get a glimpse at Felicity Smoak’s (Emily Bett Rickards) family life when the show returns for its third season.
NYPD Blue star Charlotte Ross will play the role of Felicity’s mother and it’s not currently known if she will appear in flashbacks or in the present day. It’s rumoured that Ross’ character will appear in the fifth episode of the new season entitled Oracle which delves into Felicity’s past.
Neither of Felicity’s parents have appeared on screen but they have been mentioned over the course of the series so far. Her father left her at a young age and her mother was a cocktail waitress in Vegas.
This news follows the recent reveal that Ra’s al Ghul will be the season’s big bad and that Wildcat (J.R. Ramirez) will make his debut.
