Belle threatens to confess
Despite Lisa trying to take Belle away from the village to stop her from confessing that she killed Gemma (albeit accidentally), Belle is having none of it and runs back to the village when she hears about the funeral date.
Belle is in utter turmoil about whether she should confess or not with Lisa pleading with her not to ruin her life but the guilt is too much and she nearly tells the whole congregation at the funeral but changes her mind at the last minute.  She flees the church with the intention of going to the police station but Lisa is in hot pursuit and spills the beans to Chas and Cain who help grab Belle before she makes it into the station. It looks like a long talk with Chas (who has been in a similar position where she thought she’d killed Carl) is finally making her see sense.
Lisa is still trying to keep Zac from finding out for fear it’ll send him back over the edge.
Ross is on to Pete and Debbie
Mechanic and all round bad guy, Ross, is up to no good when he figures out that brother Pete is having a secret relationship with Debbie Dingle. He even goes as far as to blackmail him so that he won’t tell the whole village. He also seems to be flirting with Debbie – bit of sibling rivalry in there? I’m not sure that doing dodgy fake alternator changes or reversing Ashley’s car into the wall on purpose are going to win Debbie over but how long will she let him get away with it?
Pollard’s marriage is over
Tempestuous couple Val and Eric finally seemed to be back on track after Val finding out she is HIV positive. That is until she decides she wants to get amorous and goes in for the kill with Eric but he flinches and can’t bring himself to be intimate with her.
Val huffs and puffs then realises she needs to give Eric time and things seem ok until Eric rushes in to proving he still fancies her with a nice meal but then when it comes to the crunch he can’t go through with it leaving Val to declare the marriage is over.
We’ll have to wait and see if there are any more twists and turns in this one.
Is Alicia on to Leyla borrowing money from Jacob?
A while back Jacob lent his real mother Leyla his savings so she could afford to rent a room at Katie’s place. Now it seems that the cat may be out the bag with Alicia discovering that Jacob’s savings account is missing a lot of money. It’s just a matter of time before the truth comes out.
The Week Ahead
Belle hits the bottle to cope with the guilt.
Priya collapses sending David into a panic about his unborn child. He is livid when he finds out that Alicia knew that Priya has an eating disorder.
Donna is back to pay an unexpected visit to Bob and gives Marlon a birthday revelation he wasn’t expecting.
Declan encourages Charity to take Jai to the cleaners in the divorce proceedings.
And Beyond..
Charity puts a plan into motion, leaving Megan unimpressed.
Cain is forced to reveal to Chas that it is in fact Moira that James is still hung up on.
Tension mounts between Ali and Ruby
Is it just us….
Or were we right to be suspicious of Ruby’s new employer although perhaps not in the way we first thought. It feels to us like he might offer to be a sperm donor for Ruby, whether they do it artificially or not would be the question?
