Emmerdale Spoilers: Kerry and Dan’s big day

It’s another busy week in the Dales with Kerry & Dan’s big day, Finn near death and new romance is in the air for Ashleigh.  Find out what else is happening this week with our spoilers below.

With their wedding date looming is the big day going to go ahead for Kerry and Dan?  Kerry is still hurt that Dan called her a bad mum and finds comfort in Daz’s arms who suggests she postpones the wedding but Dan apologises and things are back on track with the pair having their hen and stag dos respectively.  Daz clearly has other plans and sneaks away from the stag do and plants a kiss on Kerry unaware that Dan is watching.

Next morning it’s the bride who may be left at the altar as Kerry tries to persuade Dan the kiss was all Daz.  Dan doesn’t know what to do and Kerry and her guests are left waiting at the church.  It’s set to be a day of drama that both Kerry and Dan won’t forget in a hurry, especially when the police are called.  What have they done to find themselves in a police cell?

Looks like it could be one of the soap’s shortest lived marriages as Kerry desperately tries to change her image (by wearing Brenda’s clothes) to make Dan see she’s serious about him.

Finn fights for his life

Poor Finn is still struggling from the fallout of finding out his mum may have had good reason to leave him all those years ago.  Eric and Val try to help by giving him time off work but he only hits the bottle and makes a show of himself in the B&B leaving Victoria worried.

A mystery man, Brad, turns up in the village and seems very interested in Finn and conveniently has Japan travel guides in his arms when he bumps in to him giving an opener to conversation.  This leads to a drink in the Woolpack where Finn gets a little something extra put in his and is soon bundled into Brad’s car in a very woozy state.

Things get even more sinister when Brad leaves Finn in a closed barn with the exhaust running.  Luckily Cain and Pete find him with not a minute to lose and get him to hospital where he’s in critical condition with carbon monoxide poisoning.

At first it looks like he’s tried to commit suicide with Brad having wiped away any fingerprints before leaving him in the barn, but then the family realise that Brad has done this.  When the toxicology results show Rohypnol in Finn’s blood, Ross vows to find and punish Brad for whatever he’s done to Finn.

The vicar hasn’t had much luck in love since Laurel left him, but looks like he’s going to have women fighting over him this week.  Having snogged him weeks back, then telling him it was a mistake, Harriet stirs things up this week when she texts Carol (who Ashleigh has started to date) from Ashleigh’s phone and invites her to the village.  When she sees how in to each other the couple are it makes her question her own feelings for Ashleigh.

Bob notices the chemistry between the vicar and Ashleigh and has a word with him about it, urging him to speak to her but can Harriet open up about her true feelings for him or will she pretend to be happy for him and Carol?

Katie and Andy try to move past the kiss that saw Bernice attack Katie with sausages in the street, but can’t deny the connection they still have.  They decide to give their relationship another go but keep it a secret for now.

Speaking of secret relationships, Debbie is on to Ross and Donna’s relationship leading Ross to threaten her to keep quiet.

Donna is also worried about Laurel and whether she is happy to move her wedding forward.  Laurel assures her she is but then has to battle with Marlon who tries to get Leyla involved in planning the wedding, believing he’s being helpful but leaving Laurel feeling even more detached from her big day.

Tracy is still scamming Sam into giving her money and Charity is on to her but will she be able to persuade her to let her, Sam and Robbie stay in the cottage or will she send her packing.
