As the day of the craft fair arrives, Zak encourages Belle to enter her picture in the art competition, but when Ashley announces her as the winner, elation turns to horror when everyone sees it’s been slashed leaving the question; who did it?
Belle seems determined to carry on as normal as the family try to figure out who might of done such a thing. She plugs in her headphones and heads out, ending up in the woods. She dials the number for her new school and starts shouting abuse telling the person on the other end she is never going back. Later she steals a bottle of vodka and goes on an angry rampage in David’s shop.
Meanwhile, Lachlan is warned to stay away from Belle by his mother, but can he resist photographing what he sees going on? He tells Belle he knows it was her that put the paint cans in his bag.
Later,when alone at Gemma’s shrine, Belle is pushed to the brink and Edna approaches unaware how Belle is feeling. On a mission, Belle watches Edna’s house; Harriet spots her and notices her troubled air. Belle looks at Edna malevolently. Back home, Belle hunts around for a sharp object. It is clear Belle is on a mission to cause hurt and damage. Later, Belle watches Edna and follows her home, creeping in after, unseen. But does Belle’s plan go ahead?
Meanwhile, at the Dingle’s, Zak and Lisa insist Belle still considers counselling, but she doesn’t think she needs it. However, she is alarmed when Lachlan sends her an incriminating photo. Later Belle offers Lachlan a deal if he deletes the photo, shocking even herself at the lengths she is prepared to go to.
Belle feels guilty when she sees how stressed Lisa is about recent events and arranges to meet with Lachlan later. At the cricket pavilion, Belle is prepared to do what is necessary in exchange for the photo and Lachlan is curious to see how far Belle would go. Belle feels a little happier when Lachlan offers to just hang out. On the cricket pavilion roof, suddenly, Belle leaps off the roof.
Harriet’s misfortune could lead to Ashley’s glee
Ashley is troubled Harriet has not come home after having been arrested, but she’s soon back and reveals that she’s been charged with burglary. There is further bad news for her when she gets a call from the bishop; Ashley also receives a call and later tells Bernice of his hopes.
As the gossip hits the village that Harriet has lost her job as vicar, Brenda wants to start a petition for Harriet to stay in the role. Ashley manages to get in a bind when he fails to let Harriet know that he has actually been offered the job of vicar. When he eventually comes clean, his timing is off and Harriet is left upset. Later Harriet overhears Ashley’s true wishes and they come to an agreement.
Victoria goes in for a kiss with Finn
Still confused about Robert’s advances, Aaron hears Diana and Victoria mention Robert coming for tea later and decides to invite Finn to the pub for a drink in a bid to make Robert jealous. Finn is chuffed and turns up in his best clothes and it seems Robert can’t help but be jealous even though he can see what Aaron is doing. Finn soon realises that Aaron was never interested in him, much to his disappointment.
Finn turns to Victoria in his quest to find Mr Right, as the pair get tipsy whilst looking online for their perfect men. The pair make a drunken joke about getting married to each other if they are both still single at thirty and Victoria, misreading the signs, moves in to try and kiss Finn, leaving her mortified when she’s rebuked. Victoria thinks she’s ruined the friendship and is determined to do whatever it takes to make things right again.
Nicola’s got good news
Nicola’s hungover and Jimmy gets his own back as he cooks bacon for himself teasing Nicola because she’s on a health kick. He puts a healthy smoothie in front of her and she runs off to be sick. Later, a penny drops for Nicola as she heads off to get confirmation. Nicola is soon left in no doubt after doing lots of pregnancy tests and is delighted to find out she is pregnant, she and Bernice rush to the pub to tell Jimmy.
Jimmy and Nicola are excited about the pregnancy but a lonely Bernice can’t help feeling envious. Despite Jimmy’s reassurances, Nicola is furious to be considered an elderly mum-to-be after her visit to the doctor. However, Bernice has a brainwave and purchases fake pregnancy bumps for them all to share Nicola’s experience. Nicola is shocked to arrive home to Bernice and Jimmy in full sympathy mode.
Later, Andy arrives at Mill and is shocked to see Bernice with a baby bump. Naughty Bernice lets him believe he’s the father of twins and he’s left dumbstruck. But later her trick backfires when Andy learns the truth.
David decides to recruit for a lads football team, only to be accused of being sexiest by Ameila, Sarah and Gabby.
Val is jealous of Doug’s apparent local celebrity when he’s asked to turn on the local Christmas lights.
Moira gets news about Adam’s release from prison.
Diane offers Andy and Katie, Jack’s wedding ring with the idea that they can melt it down and forge two new rings. The only sticking point is they haven’t asked Robert.
