Elizabeth Hurley has stepped back into her Austin Powers costume to support a collaboration with comparethemarket.com.
Posing with meerkat Maiya in a new photo, Hurley wears the black cat suit she wore in the first Austin Powers movie. The campaign is in support of the new TV advert for comparethemeerkat.com which unveils the history behind Maiya, a teacher at Meerkovo Primary School.
Talking about the campaign Elizabeth said, “Long have I been a meerkat fan, and long have I thought I missed my true vocation in life: I should have been a spy. Maiya is my favourite meerkat as we have a lot in common; we both wish Danger were our middle names.”
Elizabeth will host an immersive screening event for comparethemeerkat.com at London’s Troxy where she will unveil Maiya’s past life in true espionage style.
