Eliza Doolittle has announced that she will be making a cameo appearance on Australian soap Home and Away.
Doolittle filmed the scenes for the popular Australian show last Autumn in the UK, when five key Home and Away actors were in London filming special episodes that are part of a dramatic new storyline. Ricky (Bonnie Sveen) lands the chance of a life time dream job to be Eliza Doolittle’s official photographer on tour.
Doolittle’s voice and her unique style seemed like the perfect fit for Home and Away. The cast took hearing one of the star’s tracks on the radio whilst going to location as a sign!
Any fan of the show will know that it’s the first time in twelve years that Home and Away has been filmed in London so this is pretty special. The shoot took place in London last year as our beloved characters were fighting for what’s more important in life, love and family. For Eliza Doolittle fans it’s the chance to see the star in a different light, the episode will air on Australian screens on 1st April and in the UK on the weekend of the 5th May on Channel 5.
