It’s safe to say that the Carters didn’t have a very good Christmas isn’t it?
On Christmas Day Mick (Danny Dyer) found out that Dean (Matt Di Angelo) had raped Linda (Kellie Bright) and as if that wasn’t enough to deal with he also found out that Shirley (Linda Henry) was really his mother meaning Dean is his brother.
Add to that the reappearance of Stan’s (Timothy West) former wife Sylvie (Linda Marlowe) and it was one hell of a miserable Christmas.
After the events of Christmas Day, the Carters are torn apart. With Linda having left, Mick sits in The Queen Vic trying to make sense of everything. Desperate to get his beloved Linda back, Mick continues to look for her with Stan offering him some comfort and advice. Meanwhile, Stan later confronts Sylvie about the lies she has kept from him for all these years – how could she let him believe Mick was his – will Sylvie admit the truth?
